The Saint Paul Public Library Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is an opportunity for you to influence library programming while gaining leadership experience. Open to all teens ages 12-18.

We meet Tuesdays, 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Arlington Hills Community Center until June. At the end of this term, YLC members are recommended to summer employment opportunities with partner organizations.

What Will We Do?

At YLC meetings, teens examine the way big picture issues affect public institutions, evaluating the role of the library in the city today. Additionally, working professionals lead tech and leadership focused workshops, emphasizing the skills needed for 21st-century leaders.
