Federal Forms, Instructions and Publications

Minnesota State Tax Forms

Forms can be printed at the library at a cost of 15 cents per black-and-white page.

Libraries recieve very limited amounts of Federal tax forms (and no State tax forms). Contact your library to ask about the availability of specific forms.

Tax Help at the Library

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free, individualized tax preparation for low- to moderate-income taxpayers - especially those 50 and older.

You will need to bring your important tax documents to the site. A social security card and photo ID are required Please see the complete list of important documents to bring with you to receive service.

Qualifying taxpayers can get free help preparing their federal and state income tax returns at locations across Minnesota. Find more information and sites.

Free Tax Preparation for Qualifying Taxpayers
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
